Inner Grey was formed in early 2007. The members of the band have been active in the metal scene for over 10 years, performing in various bands.

Long time friends John Cassar (Vocals), Anthony Fenech (Drums) and Joe Costa (Guitars) have been playing together ever since they formed their first band. Blasio Muscat (Bass) joined up during the summer of 2005, with Mario Buttigieg (Guitars) bringing the line-up to it's current form in March 2007.

Combining their diverse influences, they created their original sound. They have written a number of songs for their debut demo, 'If Symptoms Persist...' which were recorded at Noise Studios in Gozo during December 2007 & January 2008. In the meantime the band has been playing live shows locally.
